Upcoming Events

This last Saturday (4/21) we finished going through Connecting with God by Richard Foster.

Next Saturday we will not be having our regular meeting since Christine and I will be at my grandfathers funeral in Wenatchee. It is National Astronomy Day and the Yakima Astronomical Society will be meeting at Randall Park at 8:00. Christine and I will try to be there if we get back from Wenatchee in time.

The following Saturday (5/5) we will begin working through the book of Matthew. We will be discussing chapters 1 and 2.

Who we are

We are a group of Christian people who want to explore God as fully as we can and imitate Christ to the best of our ability. We try as much as possible to live in authentic community accepting and appreciating each other and our differences. We strive to be like Christ and imitate his life while extending grace to ourselves and others when we don't live up to what we want.

We believe that growing in Christ is a process and not an event and we value and guard that process in ourselves and in others. We try to take a long-term view of our Christian lives and we try to incorporate our faith into every aspect of our lives. We don't think that some things are sacred and some are secular. We believe that God should be in all and through all.
